Dimention of brick=215mmx102.5mmx65mm
total volume=0.230*0.115*0.075=0.00198cum
calculate the no. of brick in 1cum= 1cum/.00198cum=505 brick
(2)calculate the cement
total dry mortar required in 1cum=0.30cum
cement required 1+5=6 0.30/6=0.05cum
cement in kg 0.05*1440=72kg
sand required=0.30*5/6=.25cum

1) BRICK CALCULATION:
SIZE: 19x19x19 nos of brick using at cum = 500nos
500 x 6 = 3000
2)CEMENT CALCULATION:
1.75 Bags using at cum
opc 410/bag so 1.75 x 410 = Rs 720/cum
3)SAND CALCULATION:
0.25 unit/cum
river sand Rs 9000/3units so 1 unit =3000
so 0.25 x 3000 = Rs 750/cum

Size of brick =230mmx115mmx75mm volume of brick= 0.00198cum thickness of mortar is 10mm size of brick =240mmx125mmx85mm volume of brick =0.00255 no. Of brick in 1cum =1/0.00255 =392nos. Volume of bricks in 1cum =392x0.00198=0.77793 cement mortar required = 1-0.77763=0.22237cum add 15% for wet mix =(0.15x0.22237) 0.22237=0.255cum add 1/3 for dry volume =(0.33x0.255) 0.255=0.34cum ratio 1:5 cement required = (1x0.34)/6=0.056cum 0.056x1440=80.64 =1.6 bags sand required = (5x0.34)/6=0.283 cum
