What are the two types of noise of MOSFET, how to eliminate them?(Thermal and Flicker)...

Answer / mohit

Thermal Noise for a MOSFET transistor 4KT u * Inversion Current/L^2. In saturation region comes out to be 8KTGm/3 and flicker noise is K/Cox*WL*f. So by making a larger transistor we reduce the flicker noise and having a larger value of L we reduce thermal noise. There exists a trade off between flicker and thermal noise up to some extent.
