PID is given by the operating system ,so go to command
promt execute the dpmon command there you will find process
id cancel the btc process by identifying PID at os level.
Note:Dont delete the BTc directly it makes the
inconsistence in thedata base.

Hi,
If SM50 is not showing any related pid for background job
then make use of T code "SMX".SMX will let you know what
are the background jobs running and one can cancel the job
easily with SMX.

90% of the time the job status is not properly shown, plz
check the job status.It will cleared the job else try to
cancel the JOB from SM37 only.

SMX is the TCode where one can see running BackGround Jobs
and can be deleted .

Goto SM37, check the job status and delete the job. If you
have any other problem, give more details of background job.
