For NEC 25 amps depending on waht kind, thW, THHN, TW PVC
IEC 23 amps
better see manufacturer's ampacity... this is the required
ampacity at normal ambient temperature 30degree celsius.
Now if you will installing this to a certain area... then
you must consider the correction factors such as ambient
temerature, distance of installation, type installation(
grouping factor, wall cavity installation, direct burial,
etc..) then you apply these correction factors.. and there!
you have the proper ampacity for a 2.5 sq. mm copper
wire....

Hi I am Ajay Goel....
As thumb rule every 1 sqmm wire can carry 3 Amps of Max
current during transmission Hence 2.5 sqmm will carry 7.5Amps.
However for chassis wiring it can support 32 Amps.

For me its surprising to see such an contradictory
calculations
Practically in automotives, we calculate 10Amps = 1 sqmm
& approx 22A for 2.5 sqmm in DC(12/24V)
Could any body elaborate for this contradictions?
