Dear Sripellirajukumar
I had answered 7 Amps and mentioned the thumb rule for
copper is 2000 Amps per sqaure Inch ( not 2000 Amps per sq
mm ) > You need to read the answer carefully before
commenting . For Your info 1 sq inch = 25.4 x 25.4 = 645 sq
mm. Also copper purity / type of insulation / temperature
rise allowed / voltage drop tolerarable would be other
factors which need to be considered. For this 2000 Amps / Sq
inch has a generous margin ie it is has some safety margin .

The general thump rule is one square inch copper conductor
will carry 1000 Amps and that of for aluminium conductor is
600 Amps. So, for Cu, 1sqmm = 1.6 Amps appx. and for Al 1
sqmm = 0.9 Amps.
but this will not fit for the increasing cable sizez.
for example for 400Sqmm cable, it will not carry 400 x 1.6=
640 Amps. That is the effective current density of the
conductor decreases as the conductor size increase.
Also depth of cable laying, ambient temperature and cable
grouping also should be considered.

It depends for which you are using.
1. Inside wall it's maximum capacity defined is 16Amp.
2. For Equipment its's Maximum Capacity defined to be 25Amp
