12-4 / 16
8/16*100
0.5 * 100
= 50 % RANGE

Actually the formulae is:
Range= (Actual value(mA)- LRV/Span) * 100%
Span=URV-LRV
=20mA-4mA
=16mA
So,Range=(12-4/16)*100%
=(1/2)*100%
=50%

Actual formula is PV (procees variable)-LRV/Span×100%
Range=l2-4/16×16
=50%
And process Varible (ma)=Rang in % ×Span/100+LRV
Ma=50×16/100+4
ma=12
