Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
Answer / hussain
Volume of 1 Brick = 0.230*0.115*0.075 = 0.002
So No of brick req for 1 m3 = (1/0.002) = 500 Nos
1.7 bag of Cement required
0.31 cum sand required for 1 cum of brickwork

Answer / raja j
brick size in meter=.23*.115*.075 =.0019
add 10 mm mortar for ech sides=(.24*.125*.085)=(.0025)
bricks required for 1 m3 =(1/(0.0025)=400 nos
mortar required =(.0025-.0019)*400=.24
add 15% for wastage = (.24*1.15)=.276m3
so required sand is =.276 m3
cement is =(1440/6)=240*.276= 66 kg

Actual brick size 230*115*76
So No's of bricks in 1 m3=1÷.23*.115*.076=498nos
Now consider 10mm thick mortar
Now bricks size =240*125*86cm
No's of bricks in 1m3=1/.24*.125*.86=388nos
5% wastge=388+20=418nos actual
Mortar 498-388=110nos bricks
=110*.23*.115*.076=.22m3
30% for dry volume=0.286m3
Wastage 5%=0.015
Net volume=.286+.015=.3(approx)
Cement=.3÷7=0.042=.042÷.0345=1.24 bags
Sand=.042*6=.252m3 or.252*35.28=8.89cft

Answer / tipu sultan
standard size of brick
=(.19×.09×.09)m
volume of brick
=(.19×.09×.09)m^3
=0.001539
=0.00154m^3
with mortar brick size
=(.20×.10×.10)m
& volume=
=(.20×.10×.10)m^3
=0.002m^3
for volume 0.002m^3 then no. of brick=1
so that
for 1m^3 then nos. of brick = 1÷.002 = 500nos.

Answer / ajeet kumar bhatnagar
consider brick joint 10mm.
Brick volume 0.23x0.115x0.76=.0020m3
So for 1m3 brick work brick required=1/.0020=500nos
Now taking joint ,volume =.240x.125x0.086=.00245
Now for 1m3 brick work brick require=1/.00258= 388nos
So mortar volume =500-388=112nos brick=112x0.0020=0.32m3
For 1:6 mortar Cement 1/7x0.320=0.0457m3=0.00457/0.0345=1.32bags=1.32x50=66 kg
Sand=6/7x0.32=.274m3x35.28=9.67cft
