Enhancement means the process which is not available in
normal SAP procedure. This is uder specific requirements &
SAP has got such diversity to enhance the requirements as
per client's need.

Say for pricing you need to have discounts for distributor
as under:

20% discount for cummulative sales of $50,000
additional discount of 15% for cummulative sales of $100,000

So when sales in one fiscal year is $1,30,000

the formula is created by ABAPer for implementation of
discount structure in TCode VOFM

Same way some customer wants only Delivery notification to
freight forwarder then you have to add new partner in
output configuration.

1.user exit

I user exit :means in the form of the subroutens.
2.customer exit:in the form of the function module

it has for types:
1.menu exit
2.screen exit
3.function exit
4.field exit

user exit and customer exit both have clint dependent

this is procedural approch to work with enchancement.

badi.this also enchancement but this is clint independent
and this object oriented .this is multiple leve infra
structure.

badi find out using this tansaction codes like se84,se15
and se80.

when i create customer master itwill display the shipping
condition and termes of payment using the badi

Enhancement can be with respect to your customer or filed
related or even user specific

Let me give you an example on each

Customer enhancement:
In general sap once the order is confimred we create a
delivery fallwoed with pgi ; billing and posting into
accounts i.e profitability analysis

YOU Can say that u had add a new concept over hear that
you carried the confirmation at 2 stages beofre the good
actually left you lean warehouse one was order level withch
is tor and the other was at DELIVERY WHERE YOU DID PICKING
CONFIRMTION THE MAIN REASON FOR IT WA SA ENSURE THAT THE
CUSTOERM SILL WANTS THE GOODS and thereby you save the
frieght cost and avoid last moment surprises at the intail
stage it slef

Secondly you can also tel that you had added new fileds
with respect to customer partner funcation other then the
normal one like sold to party ; ship to party ; bill to
aprty and payer

you also had added the column for ku sales partner

Now feild enhancement is adding you of new feild for the
client with rtepsect to aaddress or telephonce no or
decesion making atuoroty

This is basicall done by the abper through sednign for
request

Hi Experts, I am an SAP -SD consultant . I have created new enterprise structure. I am able to create a sales order with new enterprise structure but I am receiving an error message during creating delivery T-code: VL01n which says " Material 'XXXXXXXXX' does not exist in storage location plant-'SHIV' Storage location-'KVSK'. I am also receiving another error message like "The storage location is not defined for delivery item 00010". How to resolve this issues? How to make my storage location work for my new Ent Structure? What are the settings required to make items picked for delivery in TRansfer order t-code : LT03.Please provide detailed procedure & neccessary t-codes and explanation (if required) to avoid the above errors.
