Indexes speed up finding data, but slow down inserting,
updating or deleting data.

Index is benefitted in a place where we dealt with large
amount of data.For eg, if there is a 1000 record and we
have to find out the details of record no. 889 then by the
use of index which works on basis of tree data structure,
sorts the records faster than any other ways...
