Hi
System user have lecence key to login into the sap server.
He is the person to give permissions to the dialogue user
to login into the sap server. Creation of Dailogue user
also created by the System user.
System user will perform jobs like 1)monitering the sap
servers, 2)Creation of users 3)instalation check 4)client
overview like this so many jobs are performed by the system
user. More over he is the perfect user for the sap server
who has licence key which was given by the SAPAG. The cost
of one system user licence is nearly 5lacks.
with best regards

Service user is a dialog user available to a larger,
anonymous group of users.
And the other types of users are
Dialog – User type for exactly one interactive user (all
logon types including Internet users):
System – User type for background processing and
communication within a system (internal RFC calls).
Communications – User type for dialog-free communication
between systems .Restrictions to password expiry
Reference – You cannot log on to the system with a
reference user.

system user is no way associated to dialog user .
dialog user, system user etc,... are created as per the
requirement .
dialog user is a user for instant access, using this user
you can log in to the system and find an answer then and
there. and dialog user uses dialog work process.
but system user is used for communication purpose for RFC
or backgroung processing within one system.
system uses this user for communication.
this user will not show any screens.
so even if you enter the name and password in the login box
you cannot enter.
we can just create this user cannot use this .. system use
it.

Hi,
Dialog user is to logon to system and do normal/regular
work.
System user is used for RFC connections. While attempting
to connect to a system, the source system uses this System
type user ID logon credentials.
And Service user type is used for anonymous connections
access.
For more information, just choose any ID type in the logon
data tab of any user master record and press F1 (Help). You
can get enough info.
Thanks,
Vamsi Krishna.

Dialog User type is assigned to users who access SAP through GUI and do interactive jobs like PO creation, SO creation, or any other job.
System User type is used by the users who do not access through GUI but internally access the system for many purposes such RFC, TMS, CUA, etc. System users can have multiple login sessions.

Syste User is Non-Gui and expiration of password not
checked. Used for Background processing and communication
within a system (such as RFC users for ALE, Workflow, TMS,
and CUA).

Hi,
System User is Associated with OS Level where as Dialog
User is associated with SAP System User where in one can
login into SAP Server and perform task where as System User
is confined to that particular system login and system user
could be SAP System user also this can be done if there are
many users say in thousands then one can create a User with
Contact Alias and can be assigned system Login
credentials .

How many types of work processes are there in sap ?
Performance tuning?
When I go to SAP Management Console, the tree is not appearing ; and i cannot start the console from yesterday. So I went to "Run" services.msc option to check the SAP program files appear there or not. I checked there, the two sap files "SAPC11_00" and SAPOSCOL" are appearing there but not started. If i double click this for making it started, it gives the following message. "THE SERVICE DID NOT START DUE TO LOGON FAILURE" Can anybody suggest any solution to solve this problem. Awaiting for the reply . Please.
