1.2+extra width for pcc(.15) =1.35 wide and 1.35 length may
be sufficint for excavation bottom.

Am not agree with the above posted answer because,
as we all know you can not dig the exact paper size trench
practically on ground,
so, answer could be = length of Footing + extra pcc length
(if not considered then also its Ok)+ extra digging portion
(depends on excavater for its better working)
= 1.2 + 2 X 0.150 + 2 x 0.300
= 2.1m
So Length/Width of trench = 2.1 X 2.1 m

Not correct at all. We have to consider extra length and breadth for centering and shuttering also. At least 30 cm both side. So, if footing size is 1.2×1.2m then plus .30m extra both side. Which means size of foundation trench will be 1.5×1.5m. And PCC size can be taken as 150mm extra both sides, which will be 1.35×1.35m PCC size.
