In real time you can use many pricing procedure it's totally depend upon the client requirement but generally we use only one pricing procedure as we have to assigned that pricing procedure to sales area. Also we have to maintain different condition record in VK11 for diff material.

Pricing procedures are created only based upon your
client's business requirememnt.you can't predict how many
pricing procedures are going to be used.
we have seen where more than 170 P.P are using in real time.
