There is only one object we can create without Z or Y.
That is Lock Object, it starts with EZ or EY

Custom Module programs don't have to start with Z or Y;
instead the prefix recommended by SAP is SAPMZ or SAPMY.
The actual main programs for function groups also start
with SAPLZ or SAPLY (even though the function groups
themselves start with Z or Y).

i copied the standard logical database to a custom one. The source program name by default has taken as "SAPDB" and then the custom database name given. e.g SAPDBZ*. It also allowed me to edit the source code.

You can also create help views which start with H_ such as H_Yxxx or H_Zxxx.

You can not create any custom-object without starting its name by 'Y' or 'Z'.
