dear sir, thanks for answer.. and this 4.5 percentage
voltage is due to residual magnetism in rotor of alternator.
right??

hi friends what you said is right.i having a guess that
without excitation it will run as induction generator...is
it right ah????help me!!!!!!!!

hey u r right but my question is just running alternator at
full rpm without charging the breaker... so it will not draw
any power to run as induction generator
