Electricity is harnessed from the overhead lines by the
Pentagraph. The Pentagraghs are insulated. The insulators
are placed between the high tension wires and the train
coach.

Electric train is a floating system & there is no common
ground. So at any cost the circuit can not completed
through the human body. So we can not feel any shock

Because electricity is only passes through the conductors
which are not in touch to coaches of train, electricity
only passes through conductors to the generators, batteries
and all lighting equipments as we use it at our home. So no
feel of electrict shock in an electric train.

As the source used in trains is from overhead lines and it makes contact with PENTOGRAPH contactor but pentograph contactor is insulated from coaches by mounting insulator discs on the top of train..
summerising, electric train and source (i.e. 25kV dc) is electricaly not connected.. Hence no shock....

Dear Hemant bhai
Ac current have symbolic represebtation ofsin wave where the current go to its min value and max value due to which at minimum point ac current leave the person
But in dccurrent it continuosly supply curent so there is chance of get shock in dc current
So kindly understand this

because the coches are not electrically conected to the
current carring wires .
