Answer / jayesh pillai
star point connected to ground is known as neutral earthing
it is essential for preventing arcing ground effect during
faulty conditions and maintaining zero potential at neutral
even during unbalanced condition
equipment earthing is related to earthing of non current
carrying metallic parts that may be electrocuted during
earth fault. so it is doned in order to prevent any shock
to any person and even equipment when current flows through
such equipment body during fault

Neutral earthing is return path for current by making earth
as conductor.ie like all Star connedted system are having
return as earth and 3 phases metal conductor.
body earthing is least path for fault curretnt or leagage
current flow by connecting metal body to earth point by cu
conductor.

The star point of an electrical machine is earth to make the neutral point and ground
potential is called neutral earthing.
This is done so that a number of measurement and protective system
can be suitably connected with the power system.
The equipment earthing is done to protect operating personal to protect them for electrical shok.
In some cases equipment earthing also protect the environment from earthing. .......

There is an advantage of body earthing and neutral earthing
interconnected, since any single phase connected load if
interchanged, the fuse or the circuit trips indicating the
phase wire is wrongly connected. In any case the earthing
system works when there is a normalleakage and as we have
interconnected the two earthing system the total earth
resistance becomes low & this is an added advantage.
If not so kindly explain.

earhings are 2 types .they are 1)neutral earthing 2)
equipment earthing . neutal earthing is connecting non
metallic part to ground. system earthing is connecting
some part of the system to ground.

there is a power transformer 66/11kV in delta-delta connection has 5 feeder coming out from the secondary side. One of the feeder in it normally loaded (loaded than other feeder)and this feeder usually trips with double OCR causing the bank transformer to trip. Now if the load of this feeder is put on other transformer then that no problems occurs on that transformer or the load. However normally all the test(IR, PI, short ckt, open ckt, grounding test and other ) has been conducted for this but evertything transformer..... I am not geting what is the actual problem...
Any body can help me in getting LT panel test procedure.
