Hi,
There are 2 versions of one is IDES and another is Non-IDES.
IDES stands for International Demonstration Educational
Society.
IDES is for Training Institutions and Educational
Institutions where one can get related information on TCode
and its Use a brief description on TCodes and it occupies
more space when compared to NonIDES where as NonIDES is
used for Corporate Organization or Business centers and it
will not contain information related to Tcode as is
possible in IDES Software and it occupies less space than
IDES S/W.

Landscape is possible in IDES as well as Non-IDES but there
should be RFC Configured only with RFC configured Landscape
is possible on IDES as well as Non-IDES.

Hi,
Yes,We can Prepare landscape with IDES Systems,where IDES
is nothing but International Demonstartion Educational
System and IDES system is used for Corporate Institutions
and Functional Consnultants as builtin information related
to Transaction Code is available for FUnctional Consultants
and is not recommended for Basis Admins but HardWare
requirement is more when compared to NonIDES System.

how much time it takes to export(scc8)a client? how much time it takes for import(can we do this from stms screen or we have to do this from os level?)? how much time it takes for client import post process (scc7)? how much time it takes if we do all this using remote client copy(scc9)? I know it depends on client size and system performance.But I want a real time scenario here. Thanks.
