Sapcar-xvf <patchnum version>.sap using cmdpromt..
Prerequisite:
Update SPAM/saint
Suspend Bk jobs using btctrns1
Run rddimpdp in se38
Check trans directory size
Check lock entire s in sm12
DB backup take
Lock usres expect ddic,sap*
Inform to users using sm02
Stop services

using SPAM/SAINT we can do support pack upgrade
pre-requisites--chk slicence maintenance certificate should not be expired
should not perform any update activities
