what is the difference between isolation and insolation ?
please explain in detail with example.

Isolation: It means saparation between equipment and main
supply. When we want to maintain a particular equipment it
should be isolate with mains supply.Other wise we can not
maintain it.
Insulation: It means an isulating material is provided on
the (live) cables or equipment according to their voltage
rating to avoid short ckt b/w live parts and earth faults
b/w live part and ground. This for our safety as well as
equpment safety.if it is not provided may cause so many
electrical hazards or limit the usage of cables in various
places.

Insolation - Sudden prostration due to exposure to the sun
or excessive heat.(eg. sunstroke, thermic fever)
Isolation - setting something apart from others. Seperation.
(eg. electrical Isolator)

Insolation is a measure of solar radiation energy received
on a given surface area in a given time. The name comes
from a portmanteau of the words incident solar radiation.
It is commonly expressed as average irradiance in watts per
square meter (W/m2) or kilowatt-hours per square meter per
day (kW·h/(m2·day)) (or hours/day). In the case of
photovoltaics it is commonly measured as kWh/(kWp·y)
(kilowatt hours per year per kilowatt peak rating).
isolation- isolation means to isolate or sepsrate two live
electrical parts .
