What is the difference between the Positive time recording
and negative time recording in without time evaluation?

Negative Time Recording method means the only time data
entered into the system which represents a deviation from an
employee's planned work schedule. It means it will
automatically takes the planned work schedule time data with
out entering and you need to only enter the deviation to the
planned work schedules.
Ex:Absences, Overtime, Substitutions.
Positive Time Recording method means the time data to be
entered into system includes the deviations from the planned
work schedules as well as the attendence(actual) times
during which the employee works for the organization.
Ex: Deviations(Absences, Overtime, Substitutions) + All
Attendances

In negative time recording, only deviations in planned
working time is taken into consideration. It is considered
that rest of the time employee works as per the planned
working time.
In positive time recording actual duration the employ
worked will only be considered.

With a Positive Time Status, you must enter all information
for the employee to be paid. With Negative Time Status,
the system generates all the regular information, thus, the
entry clerk need only enter the exceptions to the employees
regular schedule.

as positive time recording.These two differentiation is

Normally most of the company they use both +VE AND _VE time
recording .

The main difference between the positive and negative time
recording is
In positive the attendances and absesnces are calculated by
the time machine.ie swipe cards.
In negative the administrator has to calculate time
manually.
