LIS stands for Logistics Information System. In SAP, the logistics information
system is a combination of the following systems.
- Sales Information System
- Purchasing Information System
- Inventory Controlling Shop Floor Information System
- Plant Maintenance Information System
- Quality Management Information System
Logistics information system can be used to effectively plan the entire
logistics cycle in SAP. A user can control and monitor business events in the
logistics cycle to make effective decisions. Data coming in from various sub
modules in SAP can be clubbed and analyzed using the logistics information
system. LIS thus acts as a flexible tool to aggregate and cull out important
data. Key figures can be defined in LIS to keep track of important logistics
parameters. Users can analyze data in various ways. LIS even allows users to
customize the reports as per individual reporting requirements making it a
flexible reporting and analytical tool.

ERROR- CONFIGRATION IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THE MATERIAL REASON 3 DETAILS- WHENEVER I AM DOING VA01 SYS IS GIVING THE ABOVE ERROR FOR ALL THE MATERIAL IN THE SAME PLANT. I AM NOT USING IN CONFIGRATION SETTINGS NOR THE MATERIAL IS CONFIGRED. PLZ SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE ON THE SAME.

My client want EK02 as mandatory we are using MTO scenarios. I have selected EK02 in Pricing Procedure as Mandatory but when i try to create sales order it says condition record is missing for EK02 when i try to Create condition record VK11 and enter EK02 it say no access sequence for EK02. Their is no access sequence in condition type EK02 in spro Please help me out with EK02 as i want it MANDATORY. Need steps to configure it...

When I am going to creat a returnable packaging material through t-code mm01,in the 1st screen I put retail in industry sector and mentioned returnable packaging in material type and whan I press enter the problem comes as,"Ïnternal number range is not possible for the material type returnable packaging". So what is the reason behind this problem???
