Neutral is a return path of the main ckt in any electronical ckt and the ground is used as return path for induced currents any ckt. So its usually connected to external body of the apparatus.

neutral which is used in electrical ckt which may carry current but grounding is done for safety performance like in houses

Neutral wire carries normal current but earth wire carries abnormal or leakage current . This is main reason. That's it.

Transformer me star connection me winding ke teeno siro ko short kar diya jata hai or vahan se neutral nikala jata hai jo ki balancing ka kam karta hai, teeno phase ka current us neutral ke through apna circuit poora karta hai.
ground>>> kisi bhi machine ki body ko ground ke saath jodna,
yaani equipment me current aane par ground ke through apna circuit complete karta hai.
