two or more transformer are working in parallal, one is out
of order,what are you doing?

Answer / pramod
Initially reduce the load as soon as possible because it is
running in parallel means both will share the load, if
anyone out of order means the complete load will comes into
one tfr then may it will cause severe major problems.

From an Assistant Engineer's point of view at first I have to inform the Load Dispatch Centre about that transformer which has gone out of order. Then if I have spare transformer I will fix it by putting power to the transfer bus. Otherwise, the remaining transformers will be given to share possible maximum load according to their capacities by adjusting their tap changers.

I think if you have two transformers only and shared a load , then there's nothing to do except rejecting the load immediately because the fault will happen in less than a second
but the main advantage of parallel transformers is when one of them is out of service the others will keep working
so it must be auxiliary transformers in parallel to do that purpose

first of all i will reduce the load and then see wich
transformer is in working and how much load it will carry
and that much load i will apply on it and remain it in
working conditions.

The transformers are connected parallel for sharing the load.
if one is out of order then we must reduce the load. then we connect another transformer in parallel instead of it, that can carry the remaining load.

Answer / pramit dutta
If anyone of the transformers run in parallel is out of order
then other transformers in the system will share the load without interruption of power supply. But if this load make the overload for those transformers then according to pramod
immediately we have to reduce the load.Otherwise it will cause
some major problem.

whenever one of the transformer operating in parallel gets repair, that particular transformer is replaced by stand by transformer in substation,so that it will not result in damage of the existing transformer due to overloading.
