i strongly believe that there is no way to change number ex.
qt 10 to qt 10.1 in SD. but there is a option in SPRO -IMG -
sales- sales documents-sales order version -configure sales
order version ....well, i was try and gonethrough it's not
affected is getting errors ,,,hence not possible ,, surely
it will be done by the ABAp programmming, pls find the link

Hello All,

I need to maintain Version Management for SD. My client's requirement is whenever they change Quotation or Sales order they get version number.

E.G

Quotation Created -----> 10
Change Quotation -----> 10.1
Change quotation again ----> 10.2

just to remember the purpose of changing Quotation . Is it possible to do in SAP SD.
