VCB - vacuum ckt. Breaker , Quenching medium - Vacuum,
ACB - Air ckt. Breaker , Quenching medium - Air,
OCB - oil ckt. breaker , Quenching medium - Oil
above in all ckt. breakers different quenching medias are
using.
The above all ckt. Breakers principle is same, but medias
are used for arc quenching purpose.
OLR - over load relay , when current exceeds over setting
point, then action will be started and disconnected the
load supply by relay action. No medium is used in the OL
relay, but it works on bi-metallic action.

ACB MEAMS AIR CIRCUIT BREAKER.
VCB MEANS VACCUM CIRCUIT BREAKER.
OCB MEANS OIL CIRCUIT BREAKER.
ALL THE ABOVE USED TO TRIP THE CIRCUIT,WHEN EVER THEIR IS A
FAULT AT THE LOAD SIDE, like short circuit, excess current
consumption beyond the rated value
THE DIELECTRIC STRENGTH OF VCB IS HEIGHER THAN ACB.THE ARC
EXTINGUISHER CAPACITY OF VCB IS HEIGHER THAN ACB.HENCE VCB
IS USED FOR HIEGHER VOLTAGES AND RATINGS.
THE OLR(OVER LOAD RELAY)IS ALSO USED TO TRIP THE
CIRCUIT ,WHEN EVER THE LOAD TAKES HIGER CURRENT BEYOUND
RATED VALUE, BUT THE APPLICATION IS LIMITED TO 20A.
