Answer / sddf
Volume of concrete: 1m3
Ration: 300Kg/m3 because is concrete.
Ratio: Water/Cement equal to 0.5
Water will equal to cement x 0.5 means 300Kg x 0.5 so that
equal to 150Kg or 150Liters

Considering ratio for m20 concrete as 1:1.5:3.
Cement content of 1m^3= 0.18m^3
Considering w/c ratio as 0.45. Water content is 0.081m^3 which when converted to litres gives 81litres.
Answer= 81litres with above assumed parameters

As per IS 456 RCC M20 required cement 300kgs Min. and water
radio 0.55.We have to use the water per one m3 concrete =
165 liters.

Answer / sabeer
Ratio of M20 concrete- 1:1.5:3
Volume of cement in 1 m3 concrete= 1/5.5 = 0.1818 m3
Weight of cement = 1440*0.1818 = 261.8 kg
Water cement ratio of m20- .45
Quantity of water = 0.45*261.8= 118 litre

20N/MM2 = 200KG/CM2 CMPRESSIVE STRENGHT
THE WATER FOR 200KG/CM2 = 1/2 OF CEMENT QY 1/2* 200KG = 100
LITTERS
FOR 30N/MM2 = 300 KG/CM2 = 1/2*300KG = 150 LITTERS

Answer / mittal
mix m20
compressive strength -20n/mm2
200kg/cm2
i.e -0.5 ratio per 50 kg cement bag
for m20 making of concrete 1cum
9 bags cement in 1cum
25 liters per cement bag = 25*9= 225 liters

I used Etabs software to analyse a high-rise building. And I want to use templated UBC-codes inside to calculate the Seismic load. My question is: whether or not I have to control the seismic load by base shear load which is manual calculation? (just for more clarification: I can control this by input the scale factor into Eartquake definition in Etabs) I would highly appreciate your answer.
