for the grid connected system the earthing value must be
below the limit of 1 ohm
for the individual connected system the earthing value must
be less than 5 ohms
this is the IEC standard for earthing and bonding

In case of stations ,the maximum recommended values are
33KV-5 ohm, 66 KV -2, 110 to 400- 1.0 and generating station

there is no hard and fast rule in large sub stations 1ohm small substatioms 2ohms ither places up 6ohms permissable
