Marshelling box is generally erected at switch yard near the trafo & RTCC is erected at control room. MB is to marshell control cables from control & relay panel also from RTCC to OLTC & other supervision & cooling control system connected to transformer tank. RTCC panel is to operate tap & to supervise transformer heating & cooling conditions.

dear friends, we are use 130 hp load run with 0.98 power factor ( 38KVAR capacitor connected ). if we need improve the the power factor to 1 (unity). how much kvar capacitor to be add. have any formula? please share with me.

We use MCCB not MCB for motor starters because MCCBs has capablity to drawout the motor starting current which is 5-6 times the full load current of motor for 1sec. Then why we use SDF in starter panel means MCC panels. Pls reply if any one knows this answer.
