I have yet to see a correct answer. IT folks nearly always get it wrong. Some of the answers above are only correct in specific circumstances. People always miss the important of delivery/ship frequency. A transit and goods receipt time could be 7 days total. But if parts are being shipped from a supplier daily, the RLT for use in a formula, is 1 day. There will be 7 days of inventory in the pipeline. Not every material is Make to Order. It’s counter intuitive, but mostly just logic once understood.

then Planned delivery time is not applicable since planned
delivery time is used if u r procuring the material from
outside. We specify it as Procuremtn type in Material
Master.

Are you working in onsite or offsite project? If it is offsite then how do you get requirement from your client? Where is your client located? How to answer these questions more confidently in any interview for that matter? I know this question is nontechnical in nature unrelated to SAP SD subject but this is a crucial question through it interviewer evaluates us? hi every one, When i am doing PGI in consigment fillup,an error is showing,that is "Deficit of SL Unrestricted use 100ea:730 (mat number)ZPB1(Plant)LS1(storage location). I had mainten special stock in mb1c ie. movement type 561w. and in metarial my basic unit is ea and saleing unit is box and 1 ea.= 1 box.
