Restart inhibit is a protection in ht motors against frequent starting.Heat is generated in motor during starting so motor starts per hour is limited to ht motor in order to avoid heat generation inside windings so a motor cannot be start before a time limit after a stop.

Why tripping not occur when the transmission breaks? Doesn't we provide earthfault protection for it?
