what is the cover for column, beam & footing?..

Answer / joseph

.Cover should be not less than the nominal value corresponding to the relevant environmental category plus any
allowance for loss of cover due to abrasion.
Refer BS 8110-1 clause 3.3.7
but for your basic info : cover to column and beam should not be less than 3cm and for footing it should not be less than 7.5cm (where soil in contact) and 5 cm (where there is no contact with soil ).
But please go through the soil investigation report for the precise value.
