100*1.54=154 (1.54 for wet to dry)
1+2+4=7 (sum of ratio)
formula:
cement : (154*1)/7=22 cft = 22/1.25=17.60 Bags
sand : (154*2)/7=44 cft
aggregate: (154*4)/7=88 cft

Esasiest way to calculate the cement content is thumbrule

as if in 1:2:4 concrete there are 8 bags of cement per cum.
of concrete i.e. 35.325 cft concrete 8 bags cemnt

In schedule of rates amount of cement, sand and aggregates
according to their ratios is given.
