Hi,

Say for example you want to derive the value of a characteristics during sales order processing based on say three other characteristics value - There are two ways of achieving the same -

1. You write a Object dependency and inside the object dependency only you code the possible values and combinations for the derived value

2. You create a variant table (CU61, CU60) and maintain all the suitable combinations and derived values in the table. You write a object dependency where you call this table for deriving the value

If the permutation and combination are large in number for deriving values then the second method is followed.

Hi,In IBM Interview,the Scenario For an XYZ customer,The required delivery time is given by the customer say 17/july, but for transportation for material will take some 4days to reach the customer. means in SAP the PGI should happen before 4 days so that meet reqiured Delivery dated, How and where is the triggering point in SAP SD.from where the system will know delivery should happen before 4days.
