Confuguration wise both are same (KOFI and KOFK), but at
Account determination procedure the account determination
types got a requirement (routine) assigned to these types
which checks for CO account assignment.

KOFI is accessed only when there is NO CO account
assignment. KOFK is accessed only when there IS CO account
assignment.

well...KOFI AND KOFK . THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE IS THAT ..

In KOFI, posting of billing documents are done only in FI
a/c without doing the posting in cost a/c.

but In KOFK posting of billing documents are done both in
fI a/c and cost a/c.

Generally company do this posting (in cost a/c) inorder to
know the cost incurred and profit gain during the business
transaction process.

kofi is for the purpose of finance and kofk is for the
purpoe of controlling which is calling as a internal
auditiong and these condition types differentiate by the
requirement and kofi requirement is 3 and kofk requirement
is 2.
