how can i restrict no of items in sales order? ex:sales order has been created

how can i restrict no of items in sales order? ex:sales
order has been created for 10 items and all the 10 items
quantity should be 72 not more than that and system should
not allow to enter the quantity.where we can configure for
this.

Hi

In sap we dont have standrd setting for restricting the
line items in sales order.But through USER EXIT(SALES ORDER
LEVEL)we can controll the given requirement.

Igot your point. Butwen we give PD THEN EVEN BEFORE WE GO
IN FOR MRP2 . THE SYSTEM asks forthe MRP CONTROLLER . Can
you please let meknowas to whatshould beivn over there .

In my point of view at the time of creation of material
maseter we need select the MRP1 MRP2 MRP3 in MRP1 once we
mentioned PD instead of ND next comes MRP2 we can mention
the minimum ,maximum order quantity thatis the one way.
