Use manufacturer table.
1st step:Calculate the FLC.
2nd:Calculate the Voltage drop.( If It is more than 5%)
chose higher size.
3rd step:Calculate fault Current for the system and see
cable short circuit withstand.

Dear all,recently in our plant we installed a conveyor for this the motor ratings are 5 hp and Amps 7.39.Due to on urgent starting of conveyor we fix the DOL starter with range of 9-15 amps.give me suggestion regarding on this issue
