To increase the back up of an UPS one needs to have higher AH
Rated battery.

if we want to increase the charging of a battery first we
have to make sure that the battery have enough AH. then we
should know that there is a internal circuit in a UPS. we
can increase the charging time of a battery through that
circuit.

You have to increase the AH of the battery. Make sure that the charger of the UPS have enough capacity to charge the batteries.

if we attached another battery with ups then then the backup
time increased or if we attached a higher AH battery then
backup time increased. but if battery is higher AH that time
may be another charge controller assigned to reduce time of
charging and prevent the damage of UPS.

If changing hardware is a constraint then UPS battery time
can improved by reducing the load connected to the ups !..

Ups- back can be increase by increasing the AH capacity of
battery or by increasing no. of battery unit.
Before doing so we need to syncronise it with Battery
charger/Rectifier.
