Air Blast CB. High restriking voltage appears across the
contacts because of current chopping. If these voltages are
not allowed to discharge, they may cause break down of
insulation of the circuit breaker or the neighboring
equipment.

b)Air blast c.b in that we reduce the re-striking voltage b\w the moving contact and fixed contact by using the resistance and allows the current though reverse leakage current will be avoided only we resistance used in air blast c.b other than we can't use in oil r gas..
