systems.

RFC stands for Remote functional call.
Just it is a connectivity between the two systems.

Hi,
RFC is meant for Remote Function Call and the main function
of RFC is to Remotely assign particular User or client with
different Roles,profiles and parameters from one location
to Another location it is related to project as above if a
User or client who is at another location request for
Role,profile or Parameter then Basis Admin can Assign that
particular role or profile and parameter to that particular
User Remotely and can transport that particular Role or
profile and Parameter.

Role of RFC plays a vital role in SAP Application Server to
connect to remote system in network.To connect to remote
machine running sap application server one should configure
RFC (Remote Function Call).
