what is the formula for 3 phase motor starting cureent deatials 3phase 148A delta 415v, effician..

Answer / birinchi narayan boruah

It depends upon designed parameter of the motor. Generally
All 3 phase Induction motors take starting current 3 to 5
times of the full load current. 200 Amps incomer can be used
for the same but its better if you go for higher rating.
