For Currency their are two case are their:

Case I :-
if Cocode = Coarea then Currency of Cocode is equal to
Controlling Area.

Case II :-

If Cocode is not Equl to Coarea then it is called as cross
company code. in this case u can assign one or more
currency .

coarea currency should be different than in cocode currency

organizational Units.

where Company code is using for external reporting purpose.

Where controlling area is using for internal reporting area.

code currencey 10

Inthe currency field we give 10 all basic setting comes
automatically

Both are the same

In the maintain controlling area we shoulg be give the
company code currency

Hi! I need to change the fiscal year variant from V9 (Oct-Sept) to K4 (Jan - Dec). I understand creating a short period for fiscal year variant K4 this could be solved, but the problem is that my Controlling Area, assigned to several company codes (which should keep V9 fiscal year) variant, has fiscal year variant V9 as well. I wonder if is there any way to have a company code with fiscal year K4 and assign it to a Controlling Area with different fiscal year variant, is there any alternative fiscal year variant? Or what do you suggest? Thanks!
