information. Normally an application is data oriented, a
BPM is a Process driven applocation whi takes process
driven approach. An application can be viwed as vertical,

applications

why we use BPMs:
Most of the scenarios we can implement in PI itself. if it is not able to implement in PI for our business requirement then we will go for BPMs
for exam:
1) complicated scenarios ( which is not posible in PI)
2)workflow related scenarios
3)if u want to merge the messages
4)if u want to communicate with Asyc-system to Sync-system
then we ll go for BPMs
If you use BPMs in dual stack, system performance will go dowm because here 3 engines will runs the our scenario

In BPM we are using different steps like
Receive- it triggers in the initial step.
Send- it is for receiver step.
Receiver determination- it identifies the receiver.
Transformation- Splitting or Merging of messages .
switch- this acts like if/else statement.
control steps- it controls the process
ex:cancel, throws exception,alert message
etc.
