1.Support package location PAT01 and PAT03.
2.First of all it will read the control file and the
profile init<SID>.ora ,then it will take the backup of
controlfiles and the data files.

The support package tables are stored in PAT01 and PAT02.
The database backup during period it will read the control
file and wirte spfile also and it will store the data in
Init.SID.ora files. all the backup stored in sapbackup
directores
