Answer / k.suresh
in 3 phase system,
kw = 1.732*v*I*pf
where kva = 1.732*v*I
from the above 2 formulas,we can convert watts to kva

Answer / jyotirmaya
For 3 Phase Supply
KVA = Watt/ (1.732 x p.f.x 1000)
For 1 Phase Supply
KVA = Watt/(p.f. x 1000)

Answer / nidhi
formula
V*I (Cos)=KW= (V*I*P.F.)
but KVA=V*I/1000
SO
KW=KVA* P.F.
where P.F.=Cos (angle between V&I)
