SAP R/3 is the core package while CRM/SRM etc are Netweaver
products.
Installation steps are the same difference is the
installation master media and configuration to certain
extent.

SAP ERP = SAP ECC + SAP XSS + SAP BW + SAP EP + SAP PI + SAP NetWeaver MDM + SAP NetWeaver AS
SAP ERP is the largest SAP application and SAP ECC is the largest system (Source - SAP)

Hi Folks from SAP world, My name is herald and working in a distribution center. i graduated as an engineer so i got basic knowledge about programming languages. I want to install SAP, I have a system with following configration... > Processor - Intel Dual core 2.5 GHz > Mother board - Zotak (Nvida 512 MB Graphic card inbuild) > RAM - 2 GB > Hards disk - 320 GB is the above mentioned configration is fine for SAP installation ? Kindly provide your answer.
