View is an imaginary table. It does not lies under
database. Actually the View data is stored in database
tables only. Views are filled during runtime only.

Database View.
Maintance View.
HelpView
Project View.

Database view: Multiple tables are joined in this view.
Project View: One particular Table fields are used(few
fields).

There are 4 types of views: Database view, projection View,
Maintenance view and Help View

Data base view implement Inner join whereas Maintenance
view and Help view implement outer join

projection views can be created only on single table
select condition cannot be specified for projection views

since the database view is implemented on a database, only
transparent table can be used to create them
it is possible to access pooled and cluster table using
projection view

Q : I want to see material details in secondary list based on material No. from basic list. I will double click on any row, any field of basic list (not on field containing material no.) & the secondary list will display material details according to material No. on that row.
