when we post an entry we may post an wrong entry .in sap we
cannot delete any document or entry which is posted
therfore to correct or caNCELL the entry we reverse the
entry which is called as reversal entry

Hi,
Reversal of document's are done only for rectifying the
wrong entries. By changing the required fields,one can do
reversal of documents.Generally we can delete/vanish any
entry in books of accounts but in SAP there is no chance of
such things and for that purpose SAP allows the application
of "Reversal of documents".
As we know there are three types of Reversal of documents
which to be followed:
1. Individual Reversal
2. Mass Reversal
3. Reversal of Reversal
As per case to case it must be applied.

reversal of document will done for any prepaid expenses or
by mistake any entry posted at that time for nullify the
same, we can use reversal.
