We can measure & monitoring bellows points

A) Engine Related
1) Engine RPM
2) Engine oil Pressure
3) Engine oil temperature
4) Coolant level
5) Coolant temp
6) Governor characteristics
7) Battery charger status
8) Battery charging current & its voltage.
9) Engine running HRS
10) Fuel quantity
11) We can monitor like bellow mentioned alarms
a) Starting failure alarm
b) Charger failure alarm
c) Engine over speed alarm
d) Low engine oil pressure alarm
e) Low coolant level alarm
f) Low DC voltage (Battery Voltage)alarm

B) Alternator related (Electrical)
1) Voltage (line to line & line to neutral)
2) Kw
3) KVA
4) Frequency
5) Amps
6) KW Hrs
7) Pf
We can monitor like bellow mentioned alarms
a) Acb Breaker fail to close alarm
b) Over voltage alarm.

These we can Monitor at computer through software & modbus
converter. Rs 485 0r Rs 232

Critical parameters of engine are:
1. Max. torque or breakdown torque
2. max. speed and minimum speed.
3. speed reduction with % of full load.
4.max. working temperature.
5.speed governor charaterestics.

and that of alternator is:

1. starting ampacity
2. max. working insulation/ conductor temperature.
3. frequency variation on % of full loads.
4. voltage drop on % full load.
5. over load capacity

In india, according to trade theory above 5 HP motor reqired star delta starter. But we R connect 11 KV motor with 14MW in Direct to line ( With VCB starter combination) Can U Guess, How it is possible ?????
