will we get shock from dc?

Answer / shamim
sure u will get shock. But it requires a voltage level
that can brekdown the resistivity of ur body. if ur body is
wet u may get shock at a voltage of 70V. but if ur body is
dry u will get shock at a voltage level of 120V. Remember
DC shock is more dangerous than AC shock.

Yes. DC Shocks are always more dangerous then AC. in DC Peak
value( Amplitude) remains Constant, however in AC phase
shift appiears

yes we will get shock if the voltage is at specified
level....as ac voltage vary sinusoidally (max-zero-min)
means if somebody is in contact with the ac vol he feel vol
sinusoidally, but in very fast rate thats why sometime he
through out due to negative peak ..but in dc as it remains
constant so he will continuously remain in contact till injury..

dc voltage is more dangerous than ac. dc voltage must be
greater than 110v.

Dc is the most dangerous ac voltage. because of zero position ac cycle but dc is the no zero position because no cycle is not found straight direction in current

Regardless if AC or DC voltage, the degree of shock you will
get is almost the same, shock is determined by the following
condition: voltage level AC or DC, body resistance(wet body
offers lower resistance, hence more dangerous, to prove this
try licking together the two terminals of 9volt battery). It
is really the amount of current(ampere or
milliampere)entering our body that determines the degree or
fatality of a shock.
