IN AN ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT IF THE CURRENT EXCEEDS THE
SPECIFIED LEVEL(FULL LOAD CURRENT) IS CALLED OVER CURRENT.
TO PROTECT THE MOTOR OR ANY ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT FROM OVER
LOAD(OVER LOAD CAUSES WINDINGS MAY BURN OUT OPEN ETC.,)SOME
CIRCUITS ARE PROVIDED TO PROTECT THE MOTOR THIS IS CALLED
OVER LOAD PROTECTION..eg., IN DOL STARTER OLR IS PROTECT
THE MOTOR FROM THE OVER LOAD

Overcurrent protection is protection against excessive
currents or current beyond the acceptable current rating of
equipment. It generally operates instantly. Short circuit is
a type of overcurrent. Magnetic circuit breakers, fuses and
overcurrent relays are commonly used to provide overcurrent
protection.
Overload protection is a protection against a running
overcurrent that would cause overheating of the protected
equipment. Hence, an overload is also type of overcurrent.
Overload protection typically operates on an inverse time
curve where the tripping time becomes less as the current
increases. Overload relays as well as “slow blow” fuses are
commonly used to provide overload protection.
Some devices provide both overcurrent and overload
protection. A thermal-magnetic circuit breaker has both
thermal (overload) and magnetic (overcurrent) elements. Both
elements operate as described above. Likewise the dual
element fuse has both instantaneous and inverse time
characteristics in the same fuse providing both overcurrent
and overload protection.

Over current:
The full load current capacity, if it exceeds the rated full
load current it is over current.
Over Load Protection:
Protection given to the electrical equipment to safeguard it
from buring during the fault level or overloading.By
performing tripping action.

I have a current transformer with 1 main reading meter with transformer outside the building and a control panel having 5 CT reading meters with black round coils inside the building. I want to know, A) when current pass through the Transformers, will the current be reduced or be the same and after that B) when current pass through the CT meters with black round coils, will the current be reduced or be the same. C) in the above process will the reading of the main meter be same or different, from the total reading of all the 5 CT meters.
